It remained in the Armstrong Family until 1952 when Grace Armstrong sold it to a Polish refugee, John Kalinoski he was a survivor from a POW camp in Germany. Kalinoski and his wife performed extensive renovations over the years to improve the condition and appearance of the hotel until they sold it in 1992.
